Ok and so I know there have been similar threads (which were very helpful), simply I even so have an unresolved issue.
I've realized that if there has been counseling/antidepressants in the past year, information technology is disqualifying. I have seen a counselor and been on an antidepressant within the last year. Even though it's not my judgement phone call, I experience absolutely certain that I am fine to join the Air Forcefulness, meaning that if I become in, I don't recollect at that place will be relapse. I mainly went on the meds and then that I could focus on school and graduate with good grades subsequently a rough incident.
Anyhow, I've put myself betwixt a rock and a difficult identify. I have already filled out the medical pre-screening class with my recruiter and left out the office about the counseling/meds. (Havn't gone to MEPS nevertheless). Although I estimate there could be a risk that I could keep my oral cavity close and not go this discovered, I don't desire to practice this. I've already been dishonest and I want everything to be out there. I don't heed waiting at least a year to try getting in (I'k applying to OTS). But, since I've already lied on the pre-screening class, if I were to come up clean now (to the recruiter?), would this be considered fraudulent? What should I do?
in one case again........ its your telephone call. if you dont information technology will probably consume away at you with fright of it being found out. a daughter in my tech school got permanently decertified from the task in the concluding block of tech school. luckily it wasnt her error because she didnt know she was diagnosed bi polar when she was 12 and the medical squadron was tedious in finding it. shes just getting reclassed. you may not be and so lucky.

So coming clean at present (after lying on the pre-screening form) won't get me for fraud? And yous guys are correct, the more than I recollect about it, the more I realize that my whole military career I will worry nigh it existence discovered (i.east. in case of security clearance or something.) And I want it to be right. I've wanted this for and so long and I want to go far the Air Force more than anything, so I desire information technology to be correct.

We had a child in tech school get an article for not coming clean. The funny thing is the recruiter told him it would be ok and no one would detect out. So much for the helpful communication of the recruiter... Some times the hardest thing to do is the right thing....
all i said was that he join the army if information technology doesnt work out. i too told him to come clean.

I'm a little dislocated. Past "wait out the minimum time", what practise you lot hateful?
And is "being discharded from DEP" just but me halting the app. process for at present or does the Air Force really discharge me?

He thought y'all had already sworn into the DEP. You are not in the DEP, thus cannot be discharged out of it. Just phone call your recruiter and tell him what'south upwardly. It'southward really that easy.
