What Do I Clean The Fingerprint Sensor

For basic cleaning directions, click the image of the reader you are using.
Eikon Reader recommended cleaning method:
- Use Ethanol or Isopropanol in a concentration of upwardly to 70%. Windex can also be used as a cleaning solution.
- Use the liquid to a soft lint-free fabric (aforementioned as used to make clean center glasses or camera lenses) or to a cotton swab and gently wipe the capture surface area.
- If necessary, gently dab the window (do not wipe) with a soft cloth (non paper) dampened with a balmy ammonia-based glass cleaner to remove any milky brume.
Never do the following:
- Practice Not pour glass cleaner directly on the reader window
- DO NOT submerge the sensor in liquid.
- DO Not rub the capture expanse with any abrasive fabric, including paper.
Digital Persona recommended cleaning method:
- Apply the sticky side of a slice of scotch tape on the window and peel it away.
- If necessary, gently dab the window (do not wipe) with a soft cloth (not paper) dampened with a mild ammonia-based glass cleaner to remove any milky haze.
Never practise the post-obit:
- Practise Non use alcohol-based cleaners
- DO Non pour glass cleaner directly on the reader window
- Exercise Non submerge the reader in liquid
- Practice NOT rub the capture area with any abrasive material, including newspaper.
